Pink is a Happy Color

P i n k !
-
such a happy joyful color!
-
Just ask any little girl ~ She will agree
-
Oh wouldn't it be lovely to have a room that this pink leather chaise
could rest?  And that green, oh how it sings out  "J O Y"  !!!
-
(... a photo I snapped in Nordstroms the other day...)
-
The only pink in my home is in my studio,
where one of my dress forms is wearing a pink tutu,
pink pearls, a pink scarf, and pink flowers
-
And in a guest room that I have named
"The Paris Garden"
-
And as I studied my clothes hanging in my closet
I found only a couple of things that were pink!
I am seriously thinking I need to get more pink in my life this spring!
-
Even in small ways, as in this bright pink belt

(Also snapped at Nordstroms)
-
How are you incorporating
P  I  N  K
into your life this spring? Do you love that color?
This years pink is luscious

  1. Hi Violet! Thank
    you for your super
    sweet comments this
    week ~ I've been running
    a million miles an
    hour and just caught
    a few minutes to pop
    over and catch up.
    I do really love this
    warmer, honeysuckle pink.
    I like it better than
    the bubble gum variety
    or the electric pinks.
    I think honeysuckle looks
    great with brown or navy
or black as well as with
    other bright colors. It's
    just FUN! And who doesn't
    need more of that??
    Happy Friday, lovely friend!
    xx Suzanne

  5. Oh, you dear, dear friend! Coming to leave a comment with a little one on your lap!!!! WE HAD SUCH FUN TODAY, AGAIN! Ha....we came home having bought our dream bookcases!!! Do you have a RESTORATION HARDWARE out your way? They were having a HUGE, and I men HUGE sale. The original bookcases we wanted were extremely costly and were not even in the near future. Those were from another store. BUT THESE are even better. They should be delivered by next weekend and that will be it for the new room!

Now off to relax and eat and maybe even take a nap....have a wonderful remainder of Sunday dear one. Anita

  8. Thanks for stopping in to "meet me" at my blog. SO glad you did! Your blog is darling. I think that honeysuckle pink or the light pink of hydrangeas are the prettiest pink. Pale and soft!
    Many blessings,
    Karen
