Ahhhhh my friend, you are bringing my spring back into action over here.....the colors and tastes of spring so near! We see the taste of rose, raspberry and sweet lavender. I smell the paints on wet paper, and what a sensation for the memory. All of this takes me back to blogging summers, creating something for a new blog post, emails, camaraderie between you and Penny while we painted or illustrated, side by side.
Your lavender farm near by must be rife with perfume as the rains fall to nourish these treasured flowers. THANK YOU for this lift of inspiration. It's still winter here, will be for months.
Violet, Stunning post with the delicate colors and taste the images conjure on the tongue. The smell of lavender always delights me. Your grand is beautiful and I love the flow of this post. Happy Valentine's Day to you. xo, Vera
Dear Violet, Beautiful post! I love the soft colors, and such a darling young lady... I am so happy you enjoyed the post.. So your mother too was a nurse... Brave and admirable women our mothers, and so many others.. blessings dear friend Penny
Oh Violet dear, last of all the water colour painting of your macarones is so wonderful, I could see it framed in gold and hanging is a bakers kitchen or a French bakery. Love your sweet percious foto's they just speak to you... In a quiet whisper.
Thank you dear for your visit, it truly reminded me of what I was missing with not making it over sooner to your place. I have been so busy, I had been working on some designs on a commercial building and faux painting 12ft columns a harsh reminder of age creeping up on me, and only when I had to stand on an extension ladder 12 feet in the air for 5 hours plus hours up and down it. I have to take pictures and share when it is all displayed and together with its look. How have you been? And what exciting thing are you working on?
A sweet and beautiful post, dear Violet! Some of my favorite colors and things here... :) Your darling granddaughter always adds a very special touch... :) Blessings to you, - Irina
Just so perfect :))) xx
