Oh Violet, They are just precious! And Lavender! I too, am planting a lavender. Thank you for your visit and sweet comment... Wishing you a beautiful week ahead... blessings, Penny
Good morning dearest Violet AND PENNY! Hello up there, Penny!
Two of my favorite people here together, and then in a sunny, dreamy setting. Doesn't the sun and a playful day just bring such hope? These photos are magical in every way from that gorgeous settee, the girls themselves, the HATS (OH THE HATS), the dresses, and the lavender. But to be on Fairy Island, what a place where enchantment is possible and captured by your camera.
I go back to school this morning, but this image I will take with me in my heart to remind me of the play so necessary to survive the world. MUCH LOVE!
OH Violet dear, your grand daughters will grow up and forever remember these days spent in the garden dressing up like little fairies. All they need is their wings to fly about. I use to do this very thing with my daughter... Play about in the garden, and dress her like a butter fly or fairie. She had so much fun in the magical make believe garden world that she still talks about all the fairie furniture I would make from twigs and set up little resting places for such little creatures.
Yes, you my dear are a magical Grandma! You make me want to come over and play :)
These pictures are sweet and the hats are darling. Are they your granddaughters? I don't have grandchildren yet, but I'm still waiting. Your garden is always enchanting.
HELLO! I just saw your comment! Yes, transformation, isn't that what we are about? God is so wise, good and brilliant and way beyond understanding, but I'll take what I do understand and know: it's fun to be His child!
