Fairy Beds

I made this tiny fairy bed from wire and spray painted it white

Tiny blankets and pillows made from fabric scraps.
After working in their garden the fairies are going to take a nap
in the shade of the parsley tree.

 After photographing this purchased fairy bed
I spray painted it white also.
I love the embroidery and beads on the fabric
from a child's dress found at a thrift store.
{in my fabric stash}
~ tiny pillows for tiny fairy naps ~

Flowers on pillows made from threads and a pearl bead.
{here you can see the bed now painted white}

I know the purchased bed is much cuter!
But I needed two and the store only had one
~ and I didn't want to wait ~

Oh how I could take a nap on these fairy beds; it would require I wave my sea star wand over my head, click my heels until my feet turned into a fishtail, then I would wiggle my way onto this bed....

I am late here, but never, never disappointed....my dear friend, your mind never stops, but only advances towards the unseen, the unthought-of, the possibilities. LOVE IT SO MUCH! OH HOW I WISH WE COULD MEET!!!!!!!!!!

Hello there precious one!

Listen, I haven't had a chance today to get to email; we are outside (I have the most terrible allergies today) helping Ruben put on the finishing touches to the deck! I think you'll like it....I just came in to get relief from the outside! He will be calling me out there in just a few, so I better go, but I see that you added a new bed. HEY....store-bought or handmade, fairies just want a sweet and loving place to lay their heads, that's all.....and I'll take any one of these as long as I know that the queen of the sea made them with her loving hands.....back later precious, hopefully with photos for ya! I just had to come by for another round of zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz here, because only on a fairy bed can one dream of possibilities that no one ever thinks of.

Happy Sunday beloved friend! Anita

Your little fairy beds are so cute with the linens and bejeweled pillows. I personally like the bed you created very cleverly. Any one can purchase something but how special when you are able to create something divine. Joyful July Dear...

Oh Violet,

You are so kind and generous in your comment today on my quiet little blog. That was a draft that could use a lot of revision, but that blog is meant to be a depository for my unedited thoughts, writing as raw and unembelished by photographs. What else would I be doing that can stretch my muscles at this point? Writing. Challenging, far beyond my immediate reach, but perhaps with the exercise of practice, I may reach the stars. Thank you dear, dear friend. Anita

Dear Violet,
Thank you for coming over to meet Harold.. I am so excited that you are going to start needle felting.. I cannot wait to see your creations. I am sure they will bring as much magic as your paintings.. You are so talented.

That is how I started, I watched a Youtube video to see just how to start.. Then I went from there.. I think everyone that needle felts, finds a way that works for them.. I like to firmly felt a core, then I add a final layer of fluff. It take quite some time, but I really enjoy it... Just please be careful with the needles.. I wear a bandage on the hand that is holding, in the event I poke myself..

I will be happy you answer any questions you have, if I am able.
Happy felting dear friend!
Penny
