~ I know I will probably never own any but the latter ~

~ and that is enough ~

two puppies that is!

How hard it was to recently say goodbye to our dear Dazzle,

our 8 year old Afghan Hound

who we loved so dearly.

But as we open a new chapter in our lives

we will soon be welcoming two darling puppies.

~ This photo is of one of them ~

{ it's a breed we have never had but adore }

{not too sure how much adoration will take place by our older Afghan Hound though!}

just a short drive from my home

where I can enjoy the beauty of horses

They have captured my heart since childhood

A Fine Romance

I have had a love affair with

H O R S E S

from the first time I caught sight of one as a child

As a child I longed to have my own horse

Now, knowing all the work involved,

(and not living on acreage)

I prefer just visiting them,

of attending a performance of

The show is truly amazing,

Gorgeous horses

Beautiful women in fabulous gowns riding them

Acrobatic dancers flying through the air

It was absolutely

As we walked toward this sight, we knew we were heading for

an evening of beauty and delight

(And I've new inspiration for painting canvases of horses

and creating mixed media pieces ~ to share at a later time!)
