R A D I A N T love

C O L O R
was what was needed

While winter holds back the flowers
and color that spring will reveal

I bought these colorful vases at a thrift store this week.
~ a combination of fuchsia and radiant orchid ~
and a little aqua/turquoise

One cold morning as the sun reflected their light
I was mesmerized
and knew COLOR and LIGHT was what
I'd been longing for

May the blessings and beauty of
color
light ~ and ~ love
be splashed all over you this Valentine's week!

God's love for you is gloriously radiant

Valentine

May Your Day Be Filled With L O V E!
-
Just a quick note to wish all of you a special day,
and a wonderful week!
--
For our Valentines dinner
I made my Dear One a big thick heart shaped pizza!
He loved it.
And for dessert, white cupcakes topped with sugared strawberries
and whipped cream.
Total Yum!
-
And he surprised me with a beautiful bouquet of roses,
a little soft white polar bear,
plus a card with a bird upon it with lots of glitter.
He is getting to know me better and better
after all these years!!!

How was your day?

Dazzling Love ~ and Winner Announced

Hello, my name is Dazzle
and I'm here to announce the winner of the
Valentine Give-away.
-
... But first, let me finish reading this magazine ...
-
(Has anyone seen my glasses?)

And ... has anyone noticed that I match the tile on the bathroom floor?
(I think I was the color inspiration for this home.)
--
Oh, and Violet forgot to show a photo of our dining room chandelier,
she said in a few posts back that she would, so here it is.
... And I'd like you to notice something about that too ...

Do you see a 'shape' theme going on here?
I mean, is it just me, or is this home designed around moi ?
-
~ Okay, enough about me (for now at least) ~

The winner of the Valentine 'tiny treasures' give-away is:
Julie of  "A Vintage Chic"
-
Enjoy visiting her blog and say hello,
and check out the photo of her mom in her blue formal dance dress
she made in 1956.  It is darling!!!!
-
And Julie,
Violet ~ that lady I own ~ will be contacting you for your address
so she can get your little box of Valentine goodies to you this week!
With Love, Dazzle

Valentines ~ Vignettes ~ and a Valentine Give-Away!

I embellished a paper mache heart shaped box
with vintage sheet music, paint, glitter, crepe paper flower,
button and jewel, fabric flower leaves, and pom-pom trim.
-
Isn't pom-pom trim just the happiest?!?!
Purchased this adorable little chair at an antique shop for $10.
love     love     love   !!!

Close-up of the happy pom-pom trim so you can see the
big pink glass beads glued on for feet.
-
The flower-seated chair is the perfect perch
for my Flower Faerie Crown that I made last summer
(Now, for more opportunitues to wear it....where does one wear a faerie crown anyway?)
-.
(Can you tell I am ready for spring???)
-
This glittered angel is one of my favorite things in my studio.
She likes to wear the crown Anita made for me, and hold the
glittered 'Queen' star wand
-
~ A vignette in the window with some favorite treasures ~
-
A sheer creamy flower with jewel center clipped onto the lamp shade
of the crystally lamp from TJ's.
Sitting upon a crystal and brass base to make it taller.
-
Above is one of the crowns from my collection.
The photograph below is of a 'theatre' I created for Anita of

My dear friend is including it in her post this week.
She can intricately weave LOVE into her words and images,
words that bless and inspire.
Please click the above link for a lovely visit on her beautiful blog!

-
What a delight it is to surprise a friend with a gift,
to share the love that has been poured into our hearts!
As Valentines Day approaches,
Shall we think of sweet momentos, a card or a letter
to let someone know we are thinking of them?
