Lamb

I've been reading several Bible verses this week about lambs.

To me, a lamb is much more an Easter image

than bunnies or chicks or eggs.

Jesus as Lamb of God

Sacrificed for us

Easter!

Lamb of God

and yet He is also the Shepherd of His flock

and we are the sheep of his pasture.

He is the Good Shepherd

Who goes searching for a lost sheep.

He gave His life to save us.

"I once was lost but now I'm found"

I love those words from the hymn

Amazing Grace
