Beach Vacation

Last week for my birthday,
my dear hubby planned a trip to the beach.
The Oregon Coast.
... A place that we love and have shared so many
beautiful memories ...
-
The weather was sunny all week and the sky was glorious!

I must stroll near the ocean at least once a year

The heavens declare the glory of God
and the firmament showeth His handiwork

The sunsets were amazing. The rays of light shining down
between the clouds onto the ocean lifted my heart to God in praise.

I took photo after photo of the sky
and yet even more of our Afghan Hounds on the beach
... and sleeping afterwards. But I will save those for another day.

It was a wonderful birthday week!

Of all the beaches I've been to, the Oregon coast is still my very favorite...the most beautiful. I miss it so much! Thank you for the walk on the beach!

Oh, Violet! what a wonderful surprise for your b-day! what a beautiful place...it reminds me of Newport RI, a special place for me and my Prince!
I am never more in awe of God's awesomeness and the beauty of His creation than at the ocean...it is so vast and so awesome...just like God!
Aaaaaahhhh...I'm hoping I get there soon! I have a BIG b-day this year...maybe for that we'll sneak away!
Happy Wednesday dear Violet!
