French Inspired Flea Market

A French Inspired Flea Market
-
I am having a booth at this outdoor market
this coming Saturday in Kirkland, Washington
-
It looks like my studio has exploded with
glitter, glamour, and a touch of grace!
-
Artful Creations
~ Girl Friend Gifts ~
-
If I can get all these projects finished up
that are covering every surface,
I'll try to get some photos to share here soon
__________
-
There have been moments I've wondered if
I can do this show, as my husband and I are grieving over
the recent passing of his father, who was a daily part of our lives
these past 3 years. He lived a long and healthy life
until recently, and this past week has been especially hard.
87 years old and had never been in the hospital until last month.
We know that he is now in heaven
and reunited with his precious wife who went before.
-
~ Blessed Assurance ~
the scriptures say
"For God so loved the world
that He gave His one and only Son
That whosoever believes in Him
will not perish but have everlasting life."
John 3:16
-
"If you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord"
and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead,
you will be saved."
Romans 10:9
-
How great is the redemptive love of God
-
This is the GRACE that surrounds my heart
-
~ And the grace that inspires me to create ~
I think that maybe glitter was inspired by heavens sparkle
__________
-
And so, I am glittering with grace
(with some tear drops at times)
and looking forward to a fun day on Saturday
(and really hoping it doesn't rain!)
If you are in the area, I hope you will stop by!

My sweet Violet, I came by last night and left a message on your last post, and I was surprised to see your new post this morning. Glitter on my sweet, I believe too that the glow and joy of glittery things is an extension of the fine elegance of the earth's bounty and heaven's treasures....you have chosen an art that speaks YOUR beauty and God Himself has graced you with an abundance. Carry on.

Lovingly, Anita

I would love to attend, but alas, I live too far away.

I pray that God's strong arms of love and comfort will surround you and your husband in these days of grief. Tears and glitter have much in common - they sparkle in the light and they scatter freely. Let them fall.
