Dining Room Decor

The food's not made but the table is set.

So at least I'm somewhat ready for
~ tomorrow's F E A S T ~

We inherited my husband's grandmothers 'Apple' pattern
Franciscan china and this is the first time I've used it.
~ It is perfect for Thanksgiving ~

Last year I made these tags available to download and print
for placecards. The pressed and dried and

glittered leaves
made it through another year so am using them again!
You can go to last years post
here and download the tags
if you'd like to use them.
(and get an idea for making 'turkeys' from apples : )

May you have a blessed Thanksgiving holiday!
"O Give thanks unto the Lord, for He is good!"

I LOVE your placecards!!!! Thank you for sharing with all of us! Your table looks wonderful! I am lucky because I don't have to cook for Thanksgiving. We are going to the Country Club with 2 other couples. But, Christmas will be at our house so the work will be then. Enjoy your holiday. I am so thankful to have found you as a friend this year!!!! HUGS!

WHEW....I am finally here! I have company tonight, but very casual, but nonetheless, I had to feed the men (Ruben's buddy and himself). THEN, I marinated my Latino style turkey made with a pesto-type concoction very popular in Puerto-Rican households. Ruben is PR-American and WOW is this one yummy turkey! Violet, everything looks just stunning, as only you would do! I had so much fun today decorating and taking your advice! I brought my little theatre downstairs and it is so magical. Pictures to come in a day or two.

Enjoy the moments are they come to you dear one. Think of me, and all I can say is that I am SO THANKFUL FOR YOU. Your friendship means the world to me dear friend.

GROSSES BISES ET UN TAS DE CALINS!! Anita
