Valentines ~ Vignettes ~ and a Valentine Give-Away!

I embellished a paper mache heart shaped box
with vintage sheet music, paint, glitter, crepe paper flower,
button and jewel, fabric flower leaves, and pom-pom trim.
-
Isn't pom-pom trim just the happiest?!?!
Purchased this adorable little chair at an antique shop for $10.
love     love     love   !!!

Close-up of the happy pom-pom trim so you can see the
big pink glass beads glued on for feet.
-
The flower-seated chair is the perfect perch
for my Flower Faerie Crown that I made last summer
(Now, for more opportunitues to wear it....where does one wear a faerie crown anyway?)
-.
(Can you tell I am ready for spring???)
-
This glittered angel is one of my favorite things in my studio.
She likes to wear the crown Anita made for me, and hold the
glittered 'Queen' star wand
-
~ A vignette in the window with some favorite treasures ~
-
A sheer creamy flower with jewel center clipped onto the lamp shade
of the crystally lamp from TJ's.
Sitting upon a crystal and brass base to make it taller.

Above is one of the crowns from my collection.
The photograph below is of a 'theatre' I created for Anita of

My dear friend is including it in her post this week.
She can intricately weave LOVE into her words and images,
words that bless and inspire.

What a delight it is to surprise a friend with a gift,
to share the love that has been poured into our hearts!
As Valentines Day approaches,
Shall we think of sweet momentos, a card or a letter
to let someone know we are thinking of them?
~ or a cookie ~
A heart-shaped cookie says it all !!!  :  )
(preferably with thick pink frosting)
-
A hand-made Valentine would be perfect!
~ Below is something to get you started ~
-
-
The Valentine give-away:
(except now I have cookies on my mind...
and I'm sorry, there are no cookies in the give-away)
-

some hand-made Valentines, and supplies to make your own.

You are amazing. I have been working on my post, but it just does not give justice to what I really wanted to say about you....it is so hard to juggle fatigue, home duties and work....If I could write full-time, I could improve how I say things, but my dear friend, I will treasure the beauty you have sent me all the days of my life. A beautiful post here, thank YOU. Your rooms are stunning, your art, a gift from heaven. Bless you this day, Anita

Oh dear heart, my morning has been full of white paint, Home Depot, glitter, Home Depot, Ruben's office, glitter, HOME DEPOT, the post office, and did I mention HOME DEPOT? WE ARE GOING AGAIN FOR THE FOURTH TIME!!!! I am running ragged here, but I am full of excitement and energy to see that people are coming to see the great artist and friend that you are. My cousin MARIE has visited you. SHE is the one that looks like our beautiful grandmother. HER MOM, my mom's sister had to be the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. She is the little ballerina, my auntie Thelma. Gotta go dear, back later. Anita

Dear Violet
I will pass on your beautiful give-away. Please let another lovely lady have my spot.
You captured my dear friend with such grace, like she truly is. I'm very fortunate to include her in my circle. We are meeting this summer here in Canada. I cannot wait.
Had to come and say hello and how much I admire your creativity.
