COLOR mood therapy

Color can lift ones mood into realms of heavenly beauty
(above, giant tissue paper flowers)
-
A friend and I visited a gorgeous florists shop today,
yet in these photos not one 'real flower' to behold,
as this shop was filled to the brim with
wonderful gifts
-
~ I could have brought home several of these flowers ~

and delighted in drawers of wonderful trims

More giant flowers, and colorful scarves
-
a tooth fairy box
surrounded by cupcakes and ice cream
(bath bursts that is!
-
You'd have a similar expression
if you had a birds nest on your head.
-
a pink wall and oh such FABULOUS mirrors!
-
As we were leaving we saw this creative 'fence' around the corner.
( love that turquoise frame! )
-
It was a dreary, dark and rainy day today,
I have a cold, and was feeling a bit down, no energy for the art organizing
I had started reluctantly this morning...
-
But a friend said "Yes!" when I asked if she wanted to go and discover
this shop with me.  It was like medicine to my soul
to enter into this world of color and beauty,
just what I needed!
-
~ So I share it with you in living color ~
-
-
( There, don't you feel better now too ?!? )

oh my!!!! Gorgeous!!!!

I know what you mean when you talk about this place being like 'medicine to the soul'.

I'll never forget an experience years ago when my sister and I walked into a shop in our city. Expecting just another shop, we were overcome by the exquisite beauty, grace and utter wonder of all that was on display.

We stood in shock as we gazed on what beheld us.

So... THANK YOU... for a peak into your own glimpses of heavenly beauty (as you put it).

Very uplifting post, especially as we still have snow on the ground where we are. So the vibrant and cheerful colors are most welcome.

I also see you have come to Witsend and met Polyglot. Well, all I can say is, let the silliness begin.

Oh how this post just makes me have a tickling feeling in my belly!!!!! I HAD SO MUCH FUN LAST NIGHT IN MY STUDIO! I have to show you pictures. Dearest, THANK YOU FOR COMING ON DOWN TO START CELEBRATING OUR BIRTHDAYS! Imagine, we are only ONE DAY apart! And as for the tulle....teeeheeeee....JUST LAST NIGHT, I found a fun picture that DECLARES that we DO NOT have to leave our tulle behind...we can USE IT ON THE BEACH! Just be prepared to go barefoot...ahhhhh....what better way to wear a tutu than to be barefoot and free with the wash of the sea under your feet. I am ready to kick off my shoes! And I have a gorgeous slice of chocolate cake for you....Marie was last year, and she was quite the surprise, but this year, our beloved FUDGE will take presidence!!! CHOCOLATE and the beach...now you can't get better than that. LOVE TO YOU!!! Anita

VIOLET! I am on my prep break, so I must run, but I just had to come to say MERCI for visiting the blog today; I can't wait to compose our first beach outing for the new week. ANY PROGRESS ON THE CHANDELIER? Anita
