Jewelry Box Transformation

Like this Jewelry Box
(as I have not run out of my quart of Chalk Paint yet!)
I have undergone a transformation

That which appeared of no value
discarded and left sitting in a thrift shop
~ no one seeing the beauty that Someone else beheld ~
when viewed with eyes of
Transforming Love

With the opening of doors
my heart now flies free
-

And others can now behold the beauty

that was seen by the One
who made the transformation
-
and gave
j  e  w  e  l  s
-
where before nothing sparkled
-
and time worn scratches and loss hid what could be

And made into something of beauty once again
-
-

Isaiah 61:3

Oh dearest, this translation is just fabulous. I am looking at my French bible that is a different version but all the same, the message so clear that HE will replace ashes for a splendid turban, sadness into joy and a sad demeanor by the oil perfumed with gladness....WOW...AND I LOVE THE METAPHOR HERE....YOU HAVE CREATED POETRY TODAY FOR US MY DEAREST....ahhhhh....poetry, GOD, sparkle, creativity..what else do I need today?

And there's our beautiful Audrey girl! I love this! I must keep my eyes peeled...isn't it amazing what eyes of love can see, when others walk past?
Have a glorious day...the scripture is beautiful!
Blessings,
Christie

Hello VIolet
Interesting that you would have a little French (did you know I was French?) with the beautiful Audrey.
I understood every word.
I ADORE your "jewel". I must look for that chalk paint. It's all over blogland right now.
Haven't been to the hosp. today. I have a silly head cold. I never get sick, but I think I've been run down. I'm having a hot cup of NeoCitron as a write.
Thank you for your beauty today Violet
