Painted Suitcase

-
Aqua and Pale Grey
Are Fabulous Together!
-
After getting out my quart of ASCP in Paris Grey
(Annie Sloan Chalk Paint)
to paint my flea market coffee table
(mentioned in a previous post)
I decided to begin with this old suitcase
to practice on

-
After painting it all grey
I mixed some bright aqua craft paint into the grey
for the leather trim

Wait 'til you see the 'before' pic!

This is too much fun!

I AM FINALLY HERE, and if you read my email to see the mood I started out with, you will be happy to know that THIS POST has picked me right up...seeing that there is MORE and that art IS the healing balm for our daily struggles. Dearest, THAT FIRST PICTURE IS AWARD WINNING and has that quality of PINTEREST....just as the OTHERS ARE HERE!!!! DID YOU WRITE "PARIS" on the side as well??????

Now I cannot wait to see the table!

BRAVO, WONDERFUL, THE COLORS ARE SO PERFECT and I love how you used the Audrey book with the others to really make this classy.

You sure know what you are doing!!! BISOUS MON AMIE, Anita

oooo! What a great idea and such a professional job you've done on this suitcase!!! Love the aqua with the gray, and the beautiful script on the side! Will you store goodies in it? Also wondering how you like working with the chalk paint. Mine can sits, still unopened...
Break a leg with that table today!!!!
