Tea Party

An Impromptu Tea Party
created a fun and beautiful day

The menu : cashew chicken salad on greens
embellished with orange slices
{daintily gobbled up before I thought to take a photo}

...with fresh fruit, lemon and cream or honey for tea...

Inspired by pink
while gathering up items for decor

A Vintage Child's Dress

'Think Pink' Fairy

Lovely Lynette Enjoys the Fairy Garden on the Patio
(she found that fabulous dress at a thrift store for $6!!!)

Calligraphy Place Cards in Miniature Frames

Tea served in vintage tea cups

Decor on entry table.... child's gloves and a pink fabric flower

And for dessert
~ Strawberry Shortcake with Whipping Cream ~

{She and I both wore pink }

{we needed an excuse to play dress up}

~ Four Ladies ~
Participating in the Fabulous Balm of Laughter,
{and then solving the worlds problems}

Talk of Movies We've Enjoyed,

and Encouraging One Another in Love
{and more laughter til we cried)

A Tea Party to Remember!

So delightful to wear a pretty dress,
put on high heels and a lovely hat
and enjoy the beautiful personalities
of the sweet girls I call FRIENDs.

Perhaps we need a 'world wide blogging' tea party event?

Oh Violet, if we had it in our power to create an IN THE FLESH world wide tea party, I think it would certainly be an event to always remember and hold so dear.

What can I say but that I wish I would have been there. The laughter, the tears...OH, I CAN STIR THAT UP! The dressing up? EASY. The gobbling up of the food? NO PROBLEM!

You make magic. Those sweet little place cards in the frames; what a keepsake from a tea party hosted by such a queen. I would love to take my little canvas paintings and use them a table place holders! HOW FUN?

The details here are numerous, special and a gift. Oh how we need a tea party in Blogland!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOVE ! Anita

I am back for another cup of tea, a strawberry or two and a chat with you. Thank you my dear sister for coming by again! Oh the change that has occurred in this house...it is unbelievable when I look at the photos over the last 17 years. WOW how times flies, but it sure seasons your efforts as long as you maintain what you sow. Hmmmm...another life lesson! LOVE YOU! Anita
