Spray Painted Flower Pots

More use of "French Lilac" spray paint in the front yard

I took the spray paint lid to the garden center
to pick out plants to match.
... I am sure this is not normal ...

This horse statue was pink
but a white horse in a flower pot is more real looking
don't you think?

Below, the "BEFORE" pots
which were given to me but not my style.

I began to spray when I realized I wanted a 'before' shot

Amazing how a can of spray paint can make me so happy!
Three pots transformed
(the one with the horse was a dark brown clay pot)

Violet you are a brave girl for painting over those pots. I really like your end results. Of course a white horse looks much more natural in a flower pot than a pink horse would! ;o) Love the matching flowers you planted. Very Violet of you dear...

They turned out very pretty, though I liked the pots before you painted them. Looks great amongst the flowers :) x

How did I even miss all of this? I know....I was working on my poem day and evening!

Violet, you know how I love your style. Then you add a WHITE HORSE into the mix? Well then, you have my heart! I can feel the energy and love you have for your garden as I see your photos here; if ONLY I could capture my garden the way I truly see it, and you should have seen it LAST NIGHT under the moon!

Your purples are resonating with the praise of the creator. Your little bird bath resembles mine, and our minds and creative muses are working on almost the same plain. Blessings to you this day my dear and treasured friend. Anita

I love your garden scenes - they would fit right into my garden.

I painted an old coal bucket red today and filled it with shasta daisies. I never thought of using purple- I must try it.

Such a happy place is Violet's violet corner!!!!!!

My dear heart, thank you for coming by to see my post, to hopefully hear the music and to view the photos. Thank you also for visiting Art and Sand. Steve Cook captured for me, a certain amount of light of the California coast that just seized me. For years, as I walked the streets of Boston but especially here in Minnesota, where the homes resemble more the homes around which I lived, bring back so many memories of my mother. Steve captured the right amount of light in the paintings. HOW YOU ARTISTS DO THIS IS BEYOND ME. I hope to use words to do the same thing.

I will be back via email to take you on my tour!!!!! Anita
