I've Given Myself Permission

To Make Christmas Season Last Longer
~ and to begin decorating ~

I won't put up the large Christmas tree until after Thanksgiving
but a tree skirt can be used in other ways

I've added a silver deer and more lights to the mantle decor

I'm enjoying this gradual decorating
instead of the usual rush after Thanksgiving!

I just love Christmas decor so much more than Fall's
so bear with me if you think I'm getting ahead of things!

Sweet sister, as much as I love the feeling of fall, the smells and tastes, the décor often slips by me because chez moi, the season doesn't last that long. But I'm with you regarding the Christmas décor; I can live with the twinkle lights all year, the crystal magic of ornaments and the feeling of love in the air. I am loving your grayish entrance table adorned with your elegant display, fit for a king....OUR KING. May we always welcome Him into our abodes no matter how stately or humble they are.

You are an inspiration to me. You and Penny today have been so close to me, and God is good.

I tell ya, you have me thinking how I can make my silhouettes come alive in my firebox!

Much love, Anita

Good morning fabulous one! I always feel so lucky to have had a peek into your world, then to see the photos again here on your blog. That entrance arrangement is just glorious with the mirror in gray, the table adorned in that skirt, and your magical lights. I think I'm going to dig around today for some of my Christmas goodies to begin the fun!

Thank you for visiting my post; wasn't that bear with the flower in between his toes adorable? Glory be to the creator for His magnificent and often HILARIOUS designs in nature! Anita

So wonderful. I think it's lovely to gradually decorate and enjoy each piece as it's put up. Love those lights xx
