Be Radiant

Playing Fashion Designer This Morning

I'm not one to usually celebrate the latest 'color of the year',
like last years emerald green.
Although I love actual emeralds and the greens of nature.
But this years color Radiant Orchid is one of my favorites!

So I mixed up my version of it and played with paints and watercolor paper.
I think the inspiration struck when I cut that tag off of a new top I'm wearing today.
There were other words on it, but the
Be Radiant
really caught my attention!

Do you like my lilacs?
{you can go to the dollar store and create some spring too}

I've been working in pastel lately
Above is a little sketch inspired by a girl who came to the party.
Don't you love her leggings and socks?
And what fun that they matched my pink shoes, which she put on for some photos.
I'm also working on a larger version in acrylic.

The sun came out for the above photos.
It's been raining so much, so that light was greatly appreciated!

Lovely Ones,
Whatever you do this week

Go Forth and Be Radiant!

Radiant Orchid is lovely and you have captured it beautifully in your art. The idea of being Radiant is cheerful and much needed in this Winter of extremes. Blissful Dear...

My dear, dear heart...you are radiant and have been every single day that I've known you. Every email, every post and idea you come up with and share is RADIANT with the rays of hope, love and faith.

This color is so beautifully trapped in YOUR light. Your expertise with the camera and enhancements make a bouquet from the store a garden delight. Your ideas never stop running, and flow beautifully on paper from the tip of your brush or end of a blunt pastel. THANK YOU for your breath of inspiration that you give me every day.

LOVE YOU!

Good morning CAVALIA GIRL!!!!!!!!

Thank you so much for coming to visit my pink post. I cannot wait to actually see the magazine; I should be getting a printed version in the mail any day!

You just thrilled me with your photos of the white horse. What fabulous paintings are YOU going to paint now that you've been inspired by these elegant creations?

HAPPY SUNDAY!
