From the Realms of Glory

Angels We Have Heard on High
sweetly singing o're the plains

And the mountains in reply,
Echoing their joyous strains

Gloria in excelsis Deo;
Gloria in excelsis Deo.

"Glory to the Lord in the Highest"

Angel on my easel, found in a vintage shop
(for a song, how appropriate!)
wearing a paper glittered crown I made.

I've finished decorating the house for Christmas,
having celebrated Thanksgiving early,
~ a new tradition I've decided ~

Happy Week of Thanksgiving!

Welcoming the Season of Christmas,

~ Violet ~

Oh Violet, the angel is divine and meant to have come home with you.... Look at those wings, the wings alone was a find, and of course like myself leaving well enough along is not in our realm of work, the crown is perfect and it adds to its paper art .
Having it hang on your canvas is genius, an inspiration to its art form.
I love the scale of this piece and what you can do with it over the holidays intrigues me! You could also hang the angel over a mirror if you have one large enough to do so, I would enter your room seeing this along with an angel tree topper or star and instantly feel the glory of Christmas.

I give up now, I surrender my art tools to you my dear, you inspire me to find that next great art form I can create around. Is this room a study, your secrete space to play in? Is so lovely, and lighted ethereally.

Moving on down to your post I missed and have to say between you, Anita, and myself I could see us sitting together creating all theses magical boxes that tell a little more about our art.
I received my theatre ticket from sweet Anita, she always adds a bit of her glitter when ever she is excited to join in and play.... I am so thankful I nudged her in my direction to create with our passion for the theatre, it's becoming a tradition with us now, and you my dear will have to continue to join in. Something to look forward to.
Well, enough of this and that's, I am leaving so inspired by your angel, and am getting to work on my altar that will soon appear in my etsy.

See you soon, Dec. 5th

I forgot most importantly Lin, another great artist, and Vera, our new kid on the blogging block also an artist will have great surprise in there creating a theatrical production as well. We have pulled off a perfect online collaboration in the arts of theatrics and I am like a kid Christmas morning wanting to tear through those gifts to see the surprise, this is going to be such a surprise to ourselves as well as all who visit. We will link all our sites on and in out postings, this way all can visit each other's art, in a Christmas performance.

Well, Violet see you soon, and Thank you for your beautifully encouraging words about my small French cottage dressed in whites and grey's, and naturals.
You made my day.

Xx

Oh Violet ... Kind of speechless, you took my breathe away with the beauty of your Angel. Brilliant idea hanging her on your easel and on a canvas. But of course with your unlimited imagination but of course this angel would be divine. Love your paper crown, love, love, love the Angel.
So looking forward to Dec. 5th. I'm staging and creating set design and costumes and have Anita's glittered ticket ready to inspire.
xoxo,
Vera

HERE I AM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the beginning. This is just the beginning of the FUN! I am so thrilled to see this angel, and she is absolutely perfect for your studio any season of the year, but how APPROPRIATELY so for Christmas! And I spy that she is holding the very same fabulous tulle that I bought at Joanne's a few years ago, but they no longer carry! GRRR! That is the coolest tulle because it feels old...

You really scored on this one, you really did. And the crown? You would not believe that my gold paper mâché angel head is wearing a crown VERY SIMILAR! Oh, I really need to take some photos now; I will be at school tomorrow and Tuesday, but off the rest of the week. I hope to snap some photos!

My friend, this is sensational. Thank you for the inspiration!

I AM FINALLY HERE!

I must get to my email, but I wanted to thank you for your generous comment on my post dear heart! And that turkey on the header...when I first came across that, I just spit up with laughter. He looks just like the toms that roam our streets! YES! And what can I say about that deer photo....I did think of you and me (on the hunt for those antlers!) and the rest of the story...as it unravels into yet another year of giving thanks for the eternal joy of being ALIVE now, and forever!

Oh, one more day of meetings today dear one, and then I'm FREE! Back later!
