Studio Mantle and the Garden Fairies

I thought I'd share these images today,

what I want to show you are the two new fairy gardens,

which will be in my next post!

Here are a few fairies that have

come to enjoy the garden

She loves the roses!

 and the bunny king in one of my fairy gardens!

this little guy was found in a garden center

I added the crown

and made the 'pond' from a mirror and moss.

{because he needed a pond to row upon!}

First of all, this is me at a Parisian-style flea market

where I had a booth this last Saturday

{Because its more colorful

than the rest of the photos of my studio/workspace thus far}

It's under construction, but welcome to my home and studio!

... First, come up the stairs ...

We've designed the home and my husband is being the contractor,

(and yet working full time at his real job, he is quite amazing )

We've done this four times previously and he is in the construction business which makes this all possible

This is where I will be creating later this year!

All the 'pretties' are packed and in storage,

and I've been creating mostly on the kitchen counter top

in the house we are renting while we build.

But I still wanted to participate this year.

With One Quart of Paint

I kept painting til I ran out of paint

Below is this little sewing cabinet

and its beginning, adding paper to the drawers

Then I added gold paint

but it wasn't the look I was after...

It now goes with all the other grey in my studio
