Every princess needs a tiara
-
-
And bright pink shoes
-

~ and a party! ~
-
with sugary delectable delights!
-

(Some of the pink and green decor)
-
Chocolate Dipped Strawberries
-
Cream Puffs, Chocolate Cheesecake
~ and many other treats to fortify us for the task ahead ~
-
Designing wedding shoes for the bride!
-
Each girl was given supplies to decorate a shoe tag
-
Such a variety of designs!
-
Of course it was a "Crafting" party!
-
~ Forget the normal shower games ~
-
After this we divided into 2 teams and did a
"Project Runway"
-
a 15 minute competition designing lingerie for the bride,
on the wire mannequins that were wearing the gowns
in the dining room photo... I must tell you it was
hilarious but I will refrain from sharing the photos,
as this is a "G" rated blog : )
-
The materials we used were:
-
Hot Pink Duck Tape
Tissue Paper
Coffee Filters
Pink and Purple Crepe Streamers
Ribbon
Fuschia Bubble Wrap
Feathers
-
OOH LA LA !

(yikes)

Violet it is all adorable! I am sure everyone had a wonderful time. I LOVE the idea of decorating the shoes. CUTE ones in the photo. And the designing lingerie for the mani's I can just imagine! I would love to see a close up of you chandi over the table. I went to a class in FEB where we made a chandi that I LOVE. They asked that we not show photos of it yet because it will be published soon in a major magazine. But, so many of the girls went home & put theirs on the blogs. Kind of like if you pay that much for a class you want to be able to show it. Anyway... it is along the lines of what your pretty chandi looks like (hard to tell though & I couldn't click it to enlarge it to see better). Everything was so feminine. I bet she loved it & hated for it all to end. How sweet of you to do it for her. Thanks for sharing & making us feel like we got to come to the party too. HUGS! Charlene

Dearest Violet,

You are so kind and wonderful to have come to visit me for my anniversary! I am so blessed; we had such a great time out together, and wherever we go, we always "milk" it for what it is worth. We went out to our favorite town, loaded with antique and vintage shops and had lunch. Then we ran across town and did more shopping, then went to the other side of town for more shopping and dinner then came home and flopped! IT WAS FUN! Have a blessed day, Violet!Anita
