This Morning I'm Enjoying....

The expression of this doggie figurine
who sits above my computer... Looking at the pin I made
(from lace, fabric strips from an old top I cut up,
ribbon leaves, with a button center and jewel)
-
Martha Stewarts Smokey Quartz Glitter
-
Love it ~ Love it ~ Love it!
-

This old German iron
that I use to weight small glued items while drying.
Found at one of my favorite flea-market shops
-
One of my studio dogs ... looking out the window
(That fringe I glued onto the edge of my desk makes me happy)
-
And my breakfast of oatmeal and blueberries!
If one has oatmeal for breakfast,
why not enjoy something colorful?!?
-
My highly secret recipe for Purple Oatmeal:
1/2 to 3/4 cup of frozen blueberries
Microwave 30 seconds.
Add a third cup or more of oatmeal and some water.
Microwave 2 minutes. Add a bit of milk
and enjoy the purpleness!!!
-
Now off to the gym before getting back to work
in the studio!
-
What are you enjoying today?

Hello precious one! I came by again to say thank you for visiting me again today! It was a wild and wooly day in the classroom, so I was not able to respond earlier. How are you today? What lovely things are you up to? I found the most gorgeous paper to finish my nature book. And I found an image of a fairy that I am going to attempt to draw and paint in watercolors and then glitter...wish me luck!!! Anita

Hello Violet. You stopped by my blog a little bit ago and here goes the code word: Copperboom! Sorry for the belated hello but I have had an unusual-for-me busy tiem with the end of school for our oldest girls' with lots of plans going on. Your blog is beautiful and inspirational. Purple oatmeal looks sooo good I much try it. Thank you for the kind visit and comment, and I will most certainly pay your daughter's site a visit. Gilmore Girls was very bonding for me and my girls. after reading your comment I randomly said copperboom to the girls outloud and they chuckled knowingly.

Hello dear friend! I am on my lunch break right now, so I thought I would come over some some beauty therapy! How are you? I am winding up my excitement for the long weekend, and two more weeks left of school.

Take care, Anita

I have a glitter obsession and think most things look better with glitter, especially the MS glitter. Also, I just discovered a company that sells the original german glass glitter - so gorgeous!

GOOD MORNING DEAREST! Thank you for coming by....and you know, as much as I love that picture with Audrey and her giant caniches, I have to agree with you that your fabulous Afghans would steal the show! Oh, they are so elegant, as you are! Hmmm....I wonder how you would look all dressed up in your favorite gown or dress, reining back your hounds in such a striking pose....LOVELY, I TELL YOU! Hey, for fun, have your husband take a photo of you!! Hehehehee! Bisous, ANita

Dear, dear Violet!

I WENT TO SEE YOU ART VIA THE LINK YOU GAVE ME....Oh dear, to think that I have been corresponding with a REAL artist!!! What fabulous paintings. You possess a skill that is honed down and perfect. The dogs are so elegant. Yes, a portrait à la Audrey is in order for YOU dearest; you are so tall, slim and elegant, you MUST have someone take a photo and find a gown.....come on....do it! You only live once! Heehehe....really, I am serious. Wear some long black gloves, an elegant gown and even a big, elegant hat and let the dogs do the driving....what do ya think? Anita
