A Forgotten Birthday and Building a House

My buddy turned 10 yesterday and we were so busy packing
we forgot ~ until his siblings birthday greeting emails came in last night!
-
~ This photo is from last year.  Add one more candle ~

He loves his chair. When we picked out our furniture,
besides our comfort, I was thinking of how the dogs would enjoy
the comfy cushions.  My husband went through a dog-training phase of
"No More Dogs on the Furniture!!!"
{ that didn't last long }

This one is hoping her uncle gets a well-deserved
birthday party today
and a taste of whipping cream for both

Here is the progress on our home construction,
this is the back view of the new great room
where the dogs will once again enjoy their
big comfy chairs (us too)
-

and now, I must continue packing so we can move into a rental soon,
and of course celebrate a birthday a day late!

Happy belated birthday beautiful boy. What a doll. Sasha and Lucky also celebrated their 13th birthday while I was away. Not forgotten, just a little late too.
Love your friend Lynette. That was a sweet story.
Happy packing.

There is no keeping an Afghan off the furniture. They have an innate royal sense of entitlement to the comforts of life. And don't you love how they so elegantly & casually cross those front paws? Happy B'day to the Beautiful Boy!

Hello my special and beautiful sister! ROMAN HOLIDAY...now isn't that a masterpiece of a movie? To watch it and HOPE, even after over 55 years of being made, that we still want the ending to be different.....Audrey is sweetness personified and Mr. Peck???? Ahhhhh....what a gentleman.

Have a holiday to dream and prepare for Paris my sweet! Anita

HI VIOLET!!!
Had to come back and bounce around your blog and get to know you better!!
YES, 1976...a bicentennial bride...I wanted a RED WHITE and BLUE wedding,,HUBBY hated that idea...our birthstones are Red and Blue.......and of course the big 200th celebration...hubby dreamed of FLAGS flying everywhere and he wanted no part of that....I chose Mint green and a garden white brimmed hat theme wedding...I WAS YOUNG and Dumb.....wished I had spoken up more!!!!
YOu are moving??????Good time to de-clutter......your new place looks like it is coming along and if you SOLD your Home that is a GOOD thing....by the pics I saw with your darling dog...it is beautiful!!!
Have fun ...but REST some too!!
hugs,
jamie
