Welcome to my Studio!

My Studio Fairy
would like to welcome you to the
"Where Bloggers Create 2012 Party"

She's a doll I found last year at an antique mall.
Last week I made her some wings

~ and a wand ~
and appointed her Studio Fairy
-
she and I would like to show you around my studio

for the
WHERE BLOGGERS CREATE 2012 Party
hosted by Karen Valentine!
-
Oops on the wording on the above photo,
but I am a woman AND a blogger

First of all, this is me at a Parisian-style flea market
where I had a booth this last Saturday

{Because its more colorful
than the rest of the photos of my studio/workspace thus far}

It's under construction, but welcome to my home and studio!

... First, come up the stairs ...
-
enter the (soon coming) french doors

We've designed the home and my husband is being the contractor,
(and yet working full time at his real job, he is quite amazing )
We've done this four times previously and he is in the construction business which makes this all possible

This is where I will be creating later this year!
Come back for the "Where Bloggers Create 2013" to see it completed and decorated...
-
{and please come back before that too!}
-
All the 'pretties' are packed and in storage,
and I've been creating mostly on the kitchen counter top
in the house we are renting while we build.
But I still wanted to participate this year.
I know the other blogs will be so fun to see!

-
Now, head on over to Karens blog "My Desert Cottage" and visit some finished spaces of other bloggers,
I just know they will be filled with inspiration and beauty!!!

-
Thanks for stopping by here on your journey!
-~ Violet ~
-

-
P.S. If you'd like to see my previous studio
(ooooh, I just looked myself and I miss it!!!)

MY DEAR FRIEND!

The fairy is official; she has her wand and is READY TO GO.

YOUR HOME...I AM SPEECHLESS! I LOVE the timber and the beams jetting out of the front walk way; I love your great room AND YOUR STUDIO! IT IS MARVELOUS! THE ARCHES.....you know how I feel about these......

WOW. This is gonna be good. Before you know it dearest, you will be in your studio. Oh I wish I had oodles of money; I would get on a jet plane and head out there to sit in your studio and create. Some day.

LOVED THIS! Back later....

Your new space is going to be fantastic. That Parisian style market looks wonderful. We were in Paris last August in the Bastille District and overnight a flea market went up across the street from our hotel. It was amazing! And was completely gone by that evening-- as if it never happened. :) Best wishes as you complete the house. Tammy
