Ruffles and Rust ~ the gowns, and the market!

~ Laurie, Ilsa, Violet and Lynette at the bloggers ball ~
-
I'd like to thank Ilsa for letting me know
about her pictures on her blog and sharing some of these
with me, as I discovered upon arrival that
my camera battery was dead.
I was so disappointed, as the gowns were magnificent,
magical, whimsical, and elegant...
(click on her name to visit her blog)
-
and so much F U N !!!
-
The lovely lady on the left won the prize for
BEST DRESS
-
Ilsa in the red dress won
QUEEN of RUFFLES AND RUST
-
and the woman beside her won the award for
BEST SASH
-
I wonder if they got to keep those fantastic crowns?!?!?
and that amazing wand?
-
Two lovely dresses worn by lovely ladies.
I am sorry not to know their names!
-
Is Laurie cute or what in that gorgeous dress!!!
And she just happened to match this mannequin.
-
If I find more gowned women photos on some other blogs
I will share them here.
(Thank you Ilsa once again for allowing me to
use the above photos ~ which I further enhanced!)
-
If anyone else has photos from Friday nights event, please let me know!
-
Now, for photos from today when I had to go back
to go shopping again! These photos show just a
sampling of the wonderful booths
and wares that were available.
The women really went all out on their booths
and all were decorated fabulously.

I came home with a few treasures!
shall we have show and tell?
( ~ next time ~ )

VIOLET.....I am speechless here. Scrolling down it all keeps getting the cogs and wheels turning in my head, that I just can't think of anything to say! When my creativity starts to flow, I can't SAY anything! That is why I need complete silence when I am plotting and planning! WOWOWOOWOWWW, and that first pic with you all is marvelous! I can see AUDREY written all over you, and your beautiful eyes and smile just sparkle. Everything is magical, and those flowing, ethereal and colorful gowns and mannequins....OH WHAT DELIGHT YOU BRING TO US! MORE!!

Have a GREAT SUNDAY dearest one! Anita

Thanks Violet for posting the pics from my booth. It was fun to see everyone all dressed up and I am so glad you found some treasures to take home & that my husband helped you out so well (maybe I will keep him!).

Dear, dear friend,

From my iphone I saw you incredible email; you will never know how timely it was for me to read it. This morning, I spent time in a meeting from 8:00 to 11:30. I had to walk out at one point because I was having an anxiety attack. I will come to email when I get home tonight; I just wanted to thank you from my heart for this was a timely note of encouragement for me.....Anita

THANK YOU FOR COMING TO MY NEW POST....an alternative to Halloween, I was able to find a dark silhouette of a tree, but with a message that supercedes the darker elements of this season....love is always the answer, isn't it? AND A LITTLE BLING ON PUPPY DOGS NEVER HURTS TO PUT A SMILE ON YOUR FACE! teeeeeeheheeeeee! HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND! IT IS HERE! Anita
