Funky Snow People

They had been waiting ever so patiently
for their finishing touches, embellishments and tweaking
~ and are now on display ~
the
-
funky little
paper mache'
-
SNOW PRINCESS
(above)
--
silly little
SNOW ANGEL
-
( if Charley Brown made a snowman, it would look like this next to his tree : )
- and
PARTY SNOW LADY
-
the idea for these funny snowpeople
came from some I have seen in shops this season,
so if they look a little familiar to you,
that could be why!
Although I did not copy them, they were the
springboard for my imagination
-
~ to jump around on ~
(picture a little trampoline here)
-
Of course, the funnest part is the embellishing!

What ideas are YOU bouncing around this season?

Your snow people are just adorable. Yes your embellishments are what really give them their personalities. Happy creating...

PRECIOUS ONE! Here I am...I will tell you all about it in email, BUT LOOOOOOOOK AT THESE WONDERFUL CREATIONS! VIOLET, I see that the last one has that Festooning Fringe on his head! THAT IS WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR! You did it, you made some masterpieces here and they are perfect. Hey, my pal Penny over at Angelsdoor made a VINTAGE ORNAMENT that I thought was a vintage find in an antique store! She used pearlescence type of paint. Dearest, how I wish I had the time to create. I am really tired of being tired of my job! Ooophs, but I am grateful for my job while others are struggling to find work. Oh forgive me.....but look at the wonderful art here. I am so inspired!

CARRY ON, and I will visit you in email. Anita

Oh my friend, thank you for coming by the blog today; God takes us on journeys that along the way, He shows us important things even though the outcome may not ever be what we expect. I never probably will feel like a teacher or even an artist, for that matter, but what He does for us in terms of encouragement and building character is far more important than reaching the destination. Praise His name.....and GET SOME FAIRY DUST SPRINKLED AROUND THE HOUSE....IT'S HOLIDAY TIME! WOOOO HOOOOOO! Anita

VIOLET! YOu came to listen to the music; I wish I could just blast it up and have some meditation with this piece...but Ruben wouldn't appreciate the volume! Maybe on low will I listen to it, for Amazing Grace has not only led me home, but on a JOURNEY that I must continue even though I get afraid of failure along the way. My worst fears of being inadequate in my work is getting dismissed, criticized or some other confrontation that would make me feel bad. But it is my lion that I need to face, and I MUST embrace all the wonderful encouragement that comes so graciously along the way. THANK YOU FOR YOUR FRIENDSHIP, IT MEANS THE WORLD TO ME....and when I see the art that is all around me, it makes me so happy. Off to enjoy FIVE WHOLE days of bliss before I encounter my last set batch of conferences and move on to learn what the heck I am doing.....

HAVE A CREATIVE DAY MY FRIEND! Anita
